Day 56

Here it is Thursday and I have not made any phone calls. I need to start calling people and my only excuse is that I am tired when I get back home from work. Today I have a full calendar of meetings and work to complete and I am going to schedule in some calls. Now let’s see if I can get past the static action stage I am going through this week. Maybe I need someone to make me accountable for my actions in this business. I have some ideas about having a sales type meeting with a contest that ensues for the most calls and appointments made.

I went on to a training call tonight and it always reinforces my training and my enthusiasm. The call drove home some really salient points. There are 6 components that help to drive this business home.

1. Use the product and share it with others (this is an easy one for me and it is on my calendar as a daily task. Get the people to watch the video. Be committed to do the business (100%) until it happens.

2. Share the business opportunity (some people will ask about it and that is your clue to tell them. If you are asked if it is Network Marketing, say YES. Be proud of the fact it is and this is the hottest way to do business)

3. Follow-up with everyone! Find ways to keep following up and be constant with your follow up.

4. Build a team. Sponsor 5 and sponsor another 5 and get them signed up underneath those 5. You can also find another 5 to go deeper.

5. Look for leaders. You want to have 5 leaders somewhere within your organization.

6. Be a self-manager. This is where I am going to be doing a weekly call on business skills. It is a WebEx event so look at www.BigBlueCalendar.com and look for 4 pm (Pacific Time) on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday. Join us for some great business skills (and various speakers)

I still have to talk to two people today but I did follow up with three so far through email and setting up three way calls. I have a hair appointment at 6 pm tonight and perhaps I will find those people there.

I talked extensively with my hair dresser and she is starting to push the product to her customers and her family. I talked to a couple of people at the shop today.
