Friday at last! – tomorrow we are attending a seminar but today we have a Rotary meeting, a party to attend and lots of work to do in-between all of this.
At Rotary today, one of the members approached me and wanted to be a customer – I will connect with him on Sunday to get his order. I am happy to have another customer on the go.
One of the customers I tried to bring on board is trying to talk my other customers out of buying my product. She is manipulating them to buy something she is on. Not too happy with this and I will find a way to turn it around. Her ethics are certainly in question in my mind. I trust everyone until they prove me wrong. I have been burned in the past and will continue to get burned but the percentages are pretty small so I am more than happy to trust everyone.
I also got an email response from an old friend that I would love to have in the business. I responded immediately with the link and she is taking a look at it as she is not involved in anything right now. I have three or four in the hopper that might turn for me right now and would be a very happy person if they all came on board.
So off to the party – I still have to cook something to take so it will be a rush as it is a 2 hour drive to get there through the rush hour traffic in the rain. It will be worth it as she is looking at the business and wants to have it introduced to all her guests. If any of her guests want to sign up, I am sure she will do it first to make sure she has a good start. Let’s see what happens!
I am not sure if parties are the ideal situation when working with the hostess; however, it is great when talking to the guests. We did not stay long because my husband has allergies to cats and they had three. I did talk extensively to a guest that was currently unemployed and wants to look at the opportunity. I always keeping in mind my business and sharing it with others. It seems to be slow and I recognize that but I am not giving up as I know in the long run I will win.
