Day 25

Up early and raring to go. Got my exercise in this morning by working on the lower body. 60 minutes of squats, lunges and weights – whew glad to have that over with, however, it does feel good!

My 10 emails have now gone out. Not a lot of responses over the last couple of days. I do need to find some time to call and follow-up. I forwarded my spreadsheet to my work address so I can look at it during my lunch break. Unfortunately I never did get a lunch break and now I am running between meetings. I did get a short break but wanted to add to my blogging.

I checked my emails and found another response from someone I did not think would respond. He wants me to call him and discuss the potential. I am always happy to follow up with that kind of response. I can hardly wait to find the time to give him a call.

I talked to my mentor, Jim Britt, this morning while driving to work and mentioned the process I was taking. Finding one person and working with them to build their part of the org and then looking for another person and then helping them. He did not frown at the idea (At least I could not see him frowning through the phone), but he had a better suggestion for me. He wants me to find and sponsor 10 people as quickly as I can. Place 5 people directly under me and then place one under each of them. Sounds good to me – I am still waiting for one to be placed under me!! I might mention that fact when I go to the meeting tonight!

He also had some suggestions on where to start prospecting for people to sponsor. Success Thinking Meet Up was one of the places and large networking groups is another. He wants me to approach people of the product side first. Get them interested in having more energy, living longer and being on the forefront of the anti-aging movement. I will put together my elevator pitch tonight and get going on it!

I hope to pick up more ideas from the meeting tonight.

I also learned about a training that is taking place on Saturday in Sacramento but I am already booked to have my cousin’s guest book from his funeral service taken to Stanford for signings. I still have to find out more about the arrangements. I believe I will meet lots of others at Stanford – it will be emotional but I would rather have his friends sign the book than worry about my business right now.

K – break is over and I am back to work ;-)

I went to the meeting for the product today and the guest speaker was a Chiropractor from Palo Alto. He talked a lot about the anti-oxidants and how they are produced in the body and why we do not get enough from the foods we eat. I was very inspired about what he had to say. He showed a lot of research on the product and the results. I have always been skeptical of research as usually they are paid by the company that wants it done. In this case, however, it was from outside sources.

I also learned that this company only has 11,000 distributors in the US and 11,000 in Mexico. This means we are really on the ground floor! I am more enthused than ever to find my next 25 people to sponsor.
