Here it is Monday again. I got up a little later than usual for a work day. I got my 60 minutes of exercise completed. The system put me on a cardio program today, so now I feel really good and raring to go.
I had such a great weekend connecting with people. I had emails responses with phone numbers and a request to call them today, people that I connected with face to face while out shopping and yet more for displaying on tables as trade shows.
I have set aside an hour or two today to follow up with those calls. If I do not follow up, the connection will be lost. I am also sending out my 10 emails but with a few repeats because they have requested a resend.
I will also have to populate my master contact list with the 70 for this week. This certainly makes it easier for the daily send. If I had to find new contacts each day to send out the emails before I head out to my job, I would likely give up or not get it done on a regular basis.
This business is interesting and even though it takes big numbers to make progress, I am finding that there are moments of great momentum and moments with a lull. It is in the lull that I need to spend more time planning to push harder and do more to connect with others.
Funny business, the model is great but there are many people that do not believe in it at all and do not consider this to be a real business. Frankly, I had a big discussion with my husband yesterday and he absolutely does not like the model and thinks I am brain washed into thinking it is a real business and there is money to be made. However, he is willing to “bill” me for his time to create flyers, CD auto run items and so on.
He does not seem to remember earning a free vacation to Surf City a couple of years ago with all the expenses paid based on sales made. Nor does he remember the extra income earned before I took on a full time job. But I guess when you have an opinion and are firm on that opinion, there is nothing that can sway you away. Even Peter Drucker and Warren Buffet talk about network marketing as a viable way to make money. Warren Buffet even owns an MLM company and I am sure he does not do so lightly – there must be money there somewhere.
I find that I have an open mind and that there are endless possibilities available. If one thing does not work, then I am looking for another way to achieve success. So far, my experience is good, no one has really been negative although some do not like MLM style businesses, most have open minds.
I am happy to say that I am moving forward more quickly each day. I have 2 paid people in my down line and have 3 more in the wings plus at least 10 more with high probability.
